Case Styles and Intended Uses
Here you can see the basic case layouts and some uses for each.
Trunk Style (Hinged Lid)
Keyboards, small mixers, small monitors, trunks, guitars, LCD panels, gun cases, briefcases, tool cases, drum cases, lights, speakers, mic cases, etc.
Tray Style (Pullover Lid)
Large monnitor cases, large mixers, lighting boards, truntables, guitar amps, combos, heads, speakers, and any equipment that could be used in a shallow bottom tray.
Trunk Style w/ Removable Lid
DJ coffins, CD cases, and any equipment that could be used in a deep bottom tray.
Rack Style
Power amps, effects, wireless mics, shock mounts, double and triple wide racks, karaoke cases, switchers, and power supplies.
Work Box Style
Work boxes, lecturns, timpani drums and any set-up that needs on front lid.
Deep Tray (Split Lid)
Teleprompters and any small equipment that needs easy access.
Mixer Top Style
Used to put rack mountable mixers in the top and power amps/effects on the bottom.
Clam Shell Style
Large mixers, monitors, and any equipment that could be used in a shallow bottom tray and is very large in size.
