Kangaroo Cases' Flight Cases were born out of the ATA, or airline transportation approved, Spec 300 days of standardizing reusable shipping containers. Kangaroo produces a case line that now vastly exceeds those ATA specifications.
Our flight case line is manufactured with high quality American made plywood which is laminated with shatterproof ABS plastic in a variety of colors. We utilize full aluminum extrusion along with heavy duty tongue-and-groove valance to provide the structural integrity that our clients depend on. All of our hardware, from our recessed latches, handles, and corners, is forged from zinc-plated steel for superior strength and reliability. This type of case and the manufacturing behind it allow easy and cost effective repairs should your case meet the business end of a forklift.
Now we get to talk about "Protecting like a Mother!" The interior of the case is custom tailored to your equipment's needs utilizing many different materials which range from cleanroom/crosslink foam, which is used in the semiconductor industry, to our carpeted interior which is great for a general utility use. Whether you choose to go with 2" of soft foam or simply a painted interior, the protection and functionality of the case is paramount.
Not only do we want these cases to protect your gear, we want
our cases to make your job easier!
Carpeted Cases
Kangaroo Cases' textile covered product is affectionately known as our "Fuzzy Mother". This style is a cost effective option and is easily just as protective as our flight case line.
We use 1/2" or 3/4" ply with our carpeted case for optimum strength and rigidity. These cases are produced with an incredibly tough 1/8" black carpet material that is adhered with specially formulated contact cement which protects and provides the case a sharp, clean look. Either recessed or external hardware is available along with your choice of corners and interior features.
3/4" Birch Tour Cases
Our Birch line was developed to support our clients who find themselves on the road more than they find themselves in their own zip code! Our Birch line consists of the heaviest duty materials and workmanship you can find, period. We use 3/4" birch and give each case a full internal aluminum extrusion skeleton. Each case is constructed first by gluing and nailing the exterior components together, then riveting the internal aluminum skeleton into the case. No shortcuts or compromises when it comes to our cases.
Our Birch Cases come in many different sizes but our most popular would be the truck-pack configuration. Whether or not you are dealing with a 90" box truck or a full 109" semi rig, we have half-pack, quarter-pack and third-pack sizes ready to go!
Whether you're on a budget or a strict timeline, we can get the job done, and more importantly, done right!
