History Lesson from Kangaroo Cases, LLC.
So what, maybe Columbus didn't really discover America and we already know in Texas that Chic-Fil-A invented the chicken sandwich not the chicken. We didn't invent the case but we sure are taking it to new levels with design, quality and customer service!
OK, OK enough of that here's an overview history:
Our journey began protecting our personal equipment, and when Dallas Stage Right took off during the early 80's, we really picked up the pace.
1987 Due to frustrations with the state of the case industry in 1987 we officially hung our shingle and started building cases for the public. We enjoyed the benefits of having a case manufacturer 'in-house' for our production company's (Dallas Stage Right) needs, and other's notice our name and quality out on show sites and the rest is history. Officially we had become Dallas Stage Right Cases.
1993 Kangaroo moved operations from Farmers Branch, Texas to current location, 4027 Main Street, Dallas, Texas where we acquired a bit of Dallas great history.
1995 We launched original web site on World Wide Web!
1998 Looking for an animal that symbolizes strength and protection, we changed the name to Kangaroo Cases, and our slogan was born. "Protects like a Mother" became our mantra and shortly after we enjoyed fast growth and cemented our ties to great local and regional production based companies.
1999 Danced like it's...
2000 Bought out local case manufacturer 'Perkins Case Company'.
2001 Voted best company to work for, by owner. It was unanimous.
2003 Kangaroo launched newer website, on the Internet this time.
2006 We got around to registering our Name, Logo, and Slogan. Now we're legitimate. Oh, yeah!
2006 Hostile takeover of nearest warehouse results in an extra 1600sq. ft. and some new personnel. Don't worry, our people told us not to concern ourselves with legalities.
2007 Havin' a great Journey and turning it into our History.
